Qualified exercise professionals create a safe and effective physical activity programme tailored to a participants needs and goals.
Exercise Referral is available to people aged 16 years and over with an existing stable and controlled long term health condition that could be improved by physical activity.
Physical Activity can play an important role in preventing and managing health conditions such as coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, mental health problems, musculoskeletal conditions and some cancers.
Exercise can have a positive effect on physical and mental wellbeing with the benefits below:
